Schlepplager Schmerlat 19. - 25. 7. 2026

Vom 19. bis 25. Juli 2026 findet das 5. Schlepplager Schmerlat statt.
Nach achtjähriger Pause ist es wieder soweit: Auf dem wunderschön gelegenen Segelflugplatz Schmerlat findet das fünfte Internationale Schlepplager statt. Es wird von einem neuen Team organisiert, das auf die Unterstützung bewährter und langjähriger Helfer zählen kann.
Der Segelflugplatz der SGS ist in eine traumhafte Landschaft eingebettet: sanfte Hügel, kleine Dörfer und Kirchen inmitten von Weinbergen. Der nahe Rheinfall und das Dorf Hallau sind nur zwei touristische Highlights.
Auf dem Flugplatz gibt es Stellplätze für Wohnmobile und Anhänger. Anhänger können direkt hinter dem Wohnmobil abgestellt werden. Modelle können jederzeit vom Anhänger-Standplatz zum Startplatz geschoben werden, ohne dass die schweren Großsegler herumgetragen werden müssen. 
Toiletten und eine Dusche sind auf dem Platz vorhanden. Für Verpflegung und Getränke sorgt der Kiosk der SGS. Es gibt Sitzgelegenheiten vor und im Hangar. Es werden zwei bis drei Abendessen organisiert. Mehr Details dazu folgen später an dieser Stelle.
Die Anmeldung/Registrierung ist ab Januar 2026 an dieser Stelle möglich. Die Teilnehmerzahl ist beschränkt und die Veranstaltung richtet sich ausschließlich an Großsegler und Schlepper.





 

The Schmerlat tow camp will take place from July 19 to 25, 2026.

After an eight-year break, it's time again: the fifth International Tow Camp will take place at the beautifully located Schmerlat glider airfield. It is being organized by a new team that can count on the support of proven and long-standing helpers.

The SGS glider airfield is nestled in a dreamlike landscape: rolling hills, small villages, and churches surrounded by vineyards. The nearby Rhine Falls and the village of Hallau are just two of the tourist highlights.

There are parking spaces for motorhomes and trailers at the airfield. Trailers can be parked directly behind the motorhome. Models can be pushed from the trailer parking area to the launch site at any time without having to carry the heavy large gliders around.

Toilets and a shower are available on site. Food and drinks are provided by the SGS kiosk. There are seating areas in front of and inside the hangar. Two to three dinners will be organized. More details will follow later.

Registration will be possible here from January 2026. The number of participants is limited and the event is exclusively for large gliders and tow planes.
